HHH, H2O
After 2 weeks of Hazy, Hot, and Humid and no rain. It's nice that it's cooled off some and has been raining the last 12 hours. Very slow on the river and lake these past weeks, not as much activity as last year.
Busy with canoe shuttles and guests. Off to shuttle folks back to their vehicles at Lobster Trip.

Was shuttled by the fine folks at CLH back to the Lobster Stream boat ramp following a trip on the West Branch this past week. Service was timely, professional, friendly and much less expensive than vehicle shuttle services I've used in the past. Road would be tough for anything but a burly 4 x 4 rig but our trip out was bumpy but fun. This was a great option for a small group with younger kids, as it avoided the risk of wind and waves on the long trip down Chesuncook Lake. Homemade soda was also great.
Would recomend CLH as a shuttle service for any small paddling group (not sure how groups larger than 4 paddlers could be handled in one trip). The inn also looked comfortable, clean and very well kept, might need to stay the night on the next trip.
My husband just called me from work and said..."If you have a minute, google the Chesuncook Lake House webcam." I did and seeing the view from CLH webcam just about takes my breath away. My husband, Brian and I were married on the front lawn of the Lake House in September of 1992 and that view brings tears of joy and remembrance to my eyes. I am so glad that we get to enjoy a tiny piece of Chesuncook Village this way. Thank you for installing the camera and giving us a chance to see the lovely view that you get to see every day.
