Getting there

This morning the lake had a thin layer of ice on it. The last couple of nights the temps have been in the single digits. All the sleds are out and the groomers are being prepped for this winter. We have to wait till the grass and ground are froze up solid to move them or there's a mess to clean up in the Spring from the tracks. We've had several snows, but nothing that's stuck around. Katahdin has been white for over a month now. Our turn will soon be here. Put up 14+ cords of firewood for this winter. Plenty of trail work still to be done, especially on the Abol trails.
