2009 Sea-Plane Fly In
Looks like this years Greenville fly in will have almost perfect weather. We'd like to go down to Greenville and see all the planes, but it seems a lot of them are flying here for lunch and to pick up a card in the Poker Run.
We'll do our best to get some photos of all the planes to share with you.

Where's the ice? Is that a sandy beach I see? Hey Mitch the ice cream maker was at game one of the Patriots and it brought them good luck. It also produced a sweet batch of pineapple ice cream.
I visited Chesuncook a few years ago, having kayaked up from the southern end of the lake. While I was on the water, starting to head back, and now in front of the Lakehouse, a seaplane taxied out from your dock after having dropped off some visitors. I watched it take off, then bank around sharply, turn back towards the village, and buzz over me at about 50 feet with its engines still at takeoff power, wagging a good bye wave to you all at the Lakehouse with its wings. It was one of the loudest, most exciting things I've ever seen a plane do. I could feel the kayak and the water surface itself vibrate in response to the engines as it passed overhead. Wow!
It would be fun to visit Chesuncook again some time too.
