Originally I put up the webcam so I wouldn't get a thousand emails and phone calls asking "when will it be ice out ?". This year you can see for yourself and have a chance to win something. The contest will start on April 1, 2011 and all entries must be submitted by midnight April 25th 2011. Whoever chooses the correct day and the closest time of the ice out, WINS!
Ice Out will be determined when there is no ice visible on the webcam.
How to enter? Choose a day and time, Comment to this topic with your name and email address. The winner will receive a gift certificate for one person for a one night stay at The Chesuncook Lake House. Or a 2 night campsite for 2 people at Abol Bridge Campground, (abolcampground.com) that we purchased this past November.
